Yu-Gi-Oh! Broken Destiny: Official Sign-up

Aye Aye Jou, I see some people don't have their own decks just yet, so I'll make mine later if it's ok, can't think of one right now, and will just stick with the student structure deck for now since i am a supposed student anyway.

i've made some changes in mamoru's self deck.....

Name: Lanilia (<-No actual meaning) Soratori (sky bird)

Gender: Female (Before anyone asks, I *usually* RP a female.)
Birthday: September 15, 1994 (Respect for the aged day in Japan. Also a day to celebrate long life.)
Age: 14
Appearance: For starters, everything Lani wears is some shade of blue/skyblue if she can help it. (everything except for the white undershirts)
Lani always looks slightly hunched over. When asked about it (e.g. why are you sad? stand up straight.) she mutters that that is how she has always looked. If there is persistent asking, Lani will either ignore the person, or get angry and shout.

- Weight: 89 Lbs. (slightly underweight)
- Eyes: Blue, although to most people, they seem kind of pale.
- Hair: Lani wears her hair long and with a ponytail that rests on her left shoulder. (only if she has enough time to prepare it)
Otherwise, her hair is just down her back. Also, when compared to most other girls, Lani's hair might look a little messier than theirs.
- Clothing: Lani wears a skyblue blouse with white seams/stripes(if you picture them as stripes, picture them thin) going down the outside of the sleeves and down the front of the blouse with a white undershirt under it. The stripes/seams going down the front of the blouse are two thirds away from the center. (The center and then going to one side being a whole). At the shoulder-blades, there are draping clothes that loosely resemble wings. The blouse itself seems to fold around these wings.
Lani's skirt goes down to just past her knees. It has dark blue embroidery that resembles wings on the back and white fluffy-ness at the end of the skirt. (at her knees)
- Accessories: She wears a fake (yes fake) sapphire amulet. She ignores the fact that it's fake but she doesn't pretend it's real either. On her right ankle (yes, ankle) she wears a Skyblue ribbon which is tied so it doesn't extend past 2". On her left wrist she wears a cheap silver bracelet with a notsocheap bell attached to it. No one usually sees it because she is usually holding it within her palm.

Biography:
~~~~Lani is very shy and a tad paranoid. Since she doesn't know *anyone* in the school, she's not very trusting and tries to make good impressions but often finds herself not able to think of the right thing to say. She stays away from other people and guys especially. Because of this, she tries to be first to lunch so she can find a place to sit by herself. In the event that someone sits with her, she doesn't say anything and continues eating. If someone ever compliments her, she either thinks they are making fun of her or she just doesn't say anything and stares blankly.
~~~~During her free time, while she is alone, she practices playing her Flute. Whenever someone walks in on her playing, she either accidentally makes a mistake or all of a sudden her breath stops and she either exhales or inhales greatly so she can keep breathing. (this is due to her being startled and the fact that she thought she'd be alone when she was practicing) She plays loudly so often times people will hear her from a ways away and come walking in her direction. It is only when Lani she's a door opening or hears it closing does she actually realize someone is there.
~~~~Lani's family is middle-class and paid for her enrollment into the school. She keeps in touch with her family via email.
The reason she came to AGYD was so that she could become better at playing Yu-Gi-Oh!. Back home, she always hung around her friends who played Yu-Gi-Oh! quite a lot. Sometimes, Lani would try to play against her friends using decks they built. However, due to her lack of experience, Lani would often find herself losing within the 5th turn without doing much damage to her opponents. This caused duels involving her to become more and more boring because, however much Lani might improve, her friends would improve just as much. Consequently, this caused Lani to become distant with her friends, at least when they were dueling. So, Lani set out to become better and AGYD is where she ended up. Before Lani set out, her brother, Kai, gave her a bird-themed deck because he knew how much Lani loved the sky.
~~~~Speaking of how much Lani loves the sky, Lani also loves being in trees. She's also freaking pro at climbing trees.
Lani loves/envies birds because they can be in the sky whenever they want. Also, trees are a nice secretive place to stay away from people in.
~~~~Although it's *kind of* obvious, Lani's secret is that she wants to be able to fly like a bird in the blue sky.
~~~~Lani absolutely hates it when people pop up out of nowhere. When this happens,it usually warrants a punch or slap to the face or kick to the shin.
~~~~Lani is hungry more often than not. She also trips more often than everyone else also. However, instead of tripping somewhere like on the stairs for instance (somewhere normal), she'll trip on perfectly flat ground with nothing to trip on (somewhere notso normal). She's also a bit messy and can sometimes take a while to get dressed due to clumsiness. (E.G. putting her arm through where her head should go)

Equipment: In Lani's bag, there is a stain eraser, a cellphone, a cellphone *charger*, a small mirror (small enough to hide in the palm of her hand) and various school related items (pencils, paper etc.)
Lani also carries around some sheet music to practice with, a flute method book, and a folding music stand.

Story:

D-ster's parents arnt around much of the time so he spends his time dueling, he is rich, but not happy because But whilst dueling his freind, he winessed his friend being mugged then killed. he didnt no what to do, he was only 13. Now D-ster only duels to help, and the occasional fun duel. But when ever there is a crime, he will be there to help.D-ster is big headed because all the girls love him.He was a Obelisk Blue in duel academy then he was invited to the AYGD by a mysterious person, he likes his own style so prefers to dress the way he wants. He sometimes can here his dragon talking to him, giving him advice on what to do, he can be shy but if he wants to he can be really confident. D-ster is easily angered, if he is really angry then he'll punch something(his hand hurting later) but being vane as he is he loves to be complimented, but trys not to go over his head. He does get hot headed but Blackarchfienddragon calms him down a directs him in the path he should go.though he didnt like having friends after the death of his best friend. there was another person he called friend when he was younger, but doesnt no where he was, so along dueling, he is trying to find his old friend Adem that he hasnt seen since he was 8 years old. maybe he will find him here.He ist that very smart due to the fact that his parents always wanted him to study and brought over tutors, they never did like the game of duel monsters

Biography:
Usually a shy person he always likes to have fun and does a lot of crazy stuff with his friends and cousins but when it comes to dueling he becomes energetic and never backs down from a duel.He only has one sister(older then him) and his mom and dad are always away working(his mom is a doctor and his dad is a wealthy businessman) but has a lot of cousins which he spends all his time with.

He enrolled in the duel academy because he loves dueling ever since his father gave him his first card.But after a small car accident he starts to see card spirits but he could only see the spirits of Dark Paladin and Magician's Valkyria.The only bad thing is he is afraid of heights so traveling was a problem for him.

The only thing that really irritates him is how people treat him.Most of his friends treat him like a little kid.And also he likes to take pictures everywhere he goes as a souvenir.

Biography: Typically keeps to himself but can be supportive. He's lazy, inattentive, and optimistic. The only thing that really pisses him off is sleeping in and being late, although he has a habit of only making it just in time. On the other side of the coin, he's got poor social skills and fashion sense. His physical strength is also lacking but he doesn't let his body go with his preferred mode of transportation being a bike (due to the fact he doesn't have the money to pay for gas since he doesn't have a job). As a result, his endurance and speed are high. He likes Italian food, any kind of game, jokes, and cartoons. His number one pet peeve is working with others. When he's nervous, bored, or embarrassed, he tends to scratch his head. In his free time, he enjoys puzzles, watching cartoons, and messing around with electronics. He comes from a poor family and only hopes to earn a better living than his parents did, although he's clueless as to what exactly he wants to do to achieve that.

Jack is on his second year at the American Duel Academy in California but, on a scholarship from his tournament winnings, he's come to AGYD to study abroad for a year (which he accepted mostly because of his interest to see new places rather than to learn and study more). However, the scholarship is only a cover up from a group called the Shadow Players, descendants of the original Millennium Item holders who can detect and use shadow powers, to send Jack to investigate the shadow powers emanating from AGYD.

Biography: Adem was born into a rich family,they had all the cards you could dream of, meaning he could make any deck he wished.His family parents grew up with duel monsters,so once adem learned how to duel.They let him choose his ultimate deck.He chose a bunch of Blackwing cards .While he was growing up he was home tought,he never went to school.Eventually when he learned that ATK wasnt just duel monsters,it was stratergy.He mastered the ways of the Blackwings.Flooding the field and dealing OTK's when he had the chance.When he was 8 years old his parents died,Doctors still dont know why today.After that event he started living on the streets,he hung around with his best friend D-Ster Anglin but in the end pressure got too much so he ran away.He couldnt manage alone.So he went underground and decided to join the underground duelist kingdom to win money by beating other top ranking duelists he did this until he was 17.There he made a friend,Jason Price.Jason got arrested when the police found out he was dueling illegally.By the time Adem ran to the underground to try and save him, he was too late.All that was left was his coat.He wears it all the time,it was the first person that never felt slightly scared of Adem.He had no where to go,so he went to a Orphanage.The little children there was scared of Adem,and because the owners thought he was evil,they disowned him.It was later that day he went to his favourite place in the city. Kaiba Dome.He met a random stranger that wanted to duel him.He won the duel,it was Two days later he recieved and invite from AYGD.Instructions to go to a Ship yard the next day to go and live at AYGD.There he thought he could have a fresh start.It is now his story Unfolds....
He only has one flaw.When hes nervous he closes his eyes and thinks of his parents,this makes him sad.But it gives him the strength to do what he can for them.In himself hes confident.Even all what hes been through,He keeps his head held high and goes for gold.He doesnt like to listen to music.And when he graduates he wishes to return to the city and start his life over.

Biography: Born into a rich family, she was pampered till no end. Ahri has an elder brother who attended AGYD, but dropped out because he wasn't interested in dueling which made Ahri's parent's livid and kicked him out of the family. It was considered an honor to attend to the newly established gifted school because of the high quality learning you received.
Ahri is a small-boned shorty as people would say and easily mistaken as a elementary schooler.
Since she was little, Ahri has been a shy girl, anti-social and rarely smiled likewise show emotions. The only person she would show her smiling face was to her brother. Kids tended to avoid her due to her personality but she was strangely fine with that. On her spare time she would read endlessly in the family library just to get away from everyone. Growing up she accumulated a vast knowledge of books and literature, but she wasn't a "smarty". At times Ahri would sit under a tree eating her favorite food in the world from Doe-E Doughnuts. People may think with a rich family like hers, she had never eaten one, but her brother would always buy it for her when he visited and Ahri fell in love with them. The pilot hat she always wears was her brother's but he gave it to her when he was kicked out. Its sort of a memento from him to her and is never seen without it.
A bad habit Ahri possesses is that she is seen without shoes, because she "forgets to put them on". Explains why her feet are with cuts & scrapes, although she doesn't mind at all. Also she tends to mumble frustrating the person trying to talk to her. At times Ahri can be a bit bossy when irritated and uncontrollably burst out yelling at someone.
With her father's money she was forcibly enrolled into AGYD, although she had no knowledge of dueling. Due to her brother leaving the school, this time her father threatened her to stay in or else her father would never forgive him. Reluctantly she agreed and took part in the school. Ahri feels a bit inferior to the other students as they are talented unlike her. She practiced dueling a bit but keeps hesitating at times dragging the time of duels.

Not much of a duelist, she just stays at the academy due to reasons.

Equipment: A battered yellow flip phone used for emergencies or looking up valuable information. Under her hat are an abundant amount of sundry items ranging from marbles to a miniature flashlight. Also she tends to be found carrying a bag of Do-E Doughnuts.

-Clothing: Wheres a black coat offen when hes out and always has some black clothing when inside most of his clothing has occult symbol and always has a common symbol which all his clothing has which is a circle with ancient looking words inside it.
-Accessories: keeps the symbol with a circle with ancient words inside around his neck and wrists.

-Biography: Shinizku came from a occult family which had one of the biggest collection of old ancient books and spells which were worth a lot. only him and his father lived at the main household which was in the middle of a forest which many get lost in, when Shinizku was young his father would teach him some of the words and spells inside the books because one day it would be his job to look after the familys collection of books, the one book that Shinizku liked was the one whiched showed how evil souls where used in the making of items and weapons this intrested Shinizku a lot but his father told him thats the only book he can't read since its so old so his father locked it up in the storage downstairs but 3 years after Shinizku woke up in the middle of the night and could hear bangging downstairs when he got up and looked the front door was smashed and his father was dead on the floor seeing this Shinizku ran through a secret passage he made to see that book he liked and grabbed it and ran away from the house running away from the forest and made it to town which a family helped him raise some money to leave for the city.

when Shinizku got to the city he tried to enter one of the best duel schools there but he wasn't allowed to become a student there because he was not taking the duel exam or dueling itself seriously as he was more intreseted in his book

Shinizku is a pretty anti-social person when it comes to just talking but when a subject that he likes is brought up he will start to speak more offen but hes normally reading a old book in the park somewhere but if someone takes his book away he will start to lose his tempere and will attack the person who has taken his book because its the last book of his familys collection.

his flaws are that he cant keep his cool if something happens to his book also since of he is anti-social when he duels he doesnt really take it seriously which causes him to slip up a lot also does get distracted by rare occult books and old spell books

Biography: He was born to an Elite Family. At 4, during a test duel, he found himself flying through time. At 6, a man had given him 4 decks. Each deck had one theme. The decks were Ancient Heroes, Present Heroes, Future Heroes, and Time Heroes. As he had dueled, he has gone further into time. At the age of 11, he went into a coma during a duel. He found himself dueling several spirits from the past. When he awoke, he had the powers of a psychic duelist. As he had became older, he became older and wiser. He also has gone deeper into time. Through his years he has defeated many professionals. Now at the age of 17, he is very wise, and can delve into time, any time. He also has gone to many elite schools.
Equipment: A duel disk shaped like a piece of straight metal with 5 monster zones and a deck zone. It expands from the watch into the duel disk.
