Am I the only that read the [url=site's history]http://www.konamiworldchampionship.com/apps/blog/show/460913-site-history[/url] or did anyone forgot that the site pass its 2nd yr anniversary yesterday on the 27th?

The entry was old and must have been edited. The site itself for the DS series originally started in Spring 2008, despite the October 27th date which must have been around when he didn't incorporate nor have had the community just yet.

So it'd be one year and a half anniversary if there's such a thing. Very Happy

Unless you mean the DS Wifi Series, then I guess it is 3 years or so. XD!!!

Venus, the KWC site started on October 17th 2007. The other added edit on April are when KWC decides to work on it for much improve professional site as I've read.

It's like saying your date of birth which counts of how old you are, but not when you start progressing which could either take months or years. I guess I'm wrong about the 1 day late and it's been 11 days late. But the History was posted on the 29th of October so I'm 1 day early? Also I've seen a recent 2nd year anniversary blog posted from the main site when I was browsing through it.

Ah I see what you mean when you explained it. XD If you were talking about that exact site, then yeah, you're correct.

One of the reasons why I thought you were mistaken is because I took the old 2008 survey in which I no longer can locate, in which the "when did this site begin" date was different. The months listed there were April, May and June (or March, April or May). otherwise my memory of that survey was wrong.
Or the question there wasn't exactly related to what you were refering to.

EDIT: Due to the date...I thought it'd be 2 years anniversary XD But...I guess my math is not computing. 2007-2008 = one year. 2008 - 2009 = 2 years.

no math is wrong lol, and KWC is actually (2004 - 2009) 5 Yrs old.

Here's the real history lol.

I beat WC 2004 as mentioned. But what you guys did not know was that I was playing 2005 when it came out as well. I got stuck as my first try. I went to gamefaq back then. I contacted DrewBoormen aka GameKing of some sort about his walkthrougn. Also helped him fixed it.

Then we became friends. I told him about the WC 2004 walkthrough I had. Back then I even forgot on how I met him and I was randomly checking on answers because I was not familiar with the internet and site system yet. I even was forced to make an email and I open a search on google back then I had WindowMe version computer and found something called fastmail.

Had fastmail ever since 2004. Made a perfect email named "TheEndOfTheWorld" and used that to contact Drew. So yeah, I told him about the WC 2004 walkthrough and he told me I should post it since he have seen my skills on helping him fixed his. I didn't know where to post it and I open search again like a madman and found a weird site. Post it, moved on, and forget it ever happened.

Then I made a new walkthrough and was more into gamefaq walkthoughs. Still remains contact with Drew. Then I post the WC 2007 S Rank Walkthrough on gamefaq. when I posted the WC 2007 it got rejected. Re-post and still keep on getting rejected. Not sure if the works were poor, nor following a GAMEFAQ rubric, I just do my fast thinking and search on how to create sites, and post it at the start of webs.com KWC 1.0 and left it. Not until in Jan I received a weird email from them. They send me my pass and my username and said to log back in and eversince I remembered that I made a site lol.

- - - The site is 2 years old as venus mentioned. In 3.0 I was doing these research and following up with yugioh wiki tcg article as well as searching the old forum for tourney topics. All the info just bottle up too much and I thought it was 2nd year, and still left it unchecked because well I'm ignorant in certain stuffs lol.
