The Actual Game

How many people here play the real card game? I'm just curious to how many people play for real. I used to, but I stopped because basically my cards...aren't excellent. And I'm not about to spend all kinds of cash to get better cards. Besides, I have nobody to play against. None of my friends play the real card game. I'm just gonna stick with the video games. Although I'd just like to know how many people do play.

me and my best friend/neighbor play real yu-gi-oh cards

i use to. i played a tournament in the convention center and got 4th place...
now i dont play anymore cuz ppl consider yugioh the thing of the past

I used too play it in 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. I have over 3000 cards at my disposal. I stopped playing because people were out to rob me and my cards were getting wrinkled. Rise of Destiny was the last booster I completed.

I probably would still be playing if my best cards weren't stolen from me. I had better cards than I do now, but three years ago, in 8th grade, they were stolen from me. Now I'm left with only like 500 cards and most of them aren't...well...usable in a duel. I've tried restoring my collection but I've had little success, so I quit altogether.

Yeah it was pretty hard at the time, but I got over it. Heh, that was the last time I took my cards with me to school

i play it once in a while, though i cant remember the last time i ever played it

in the forth grade i was trading a a kid stole from me a blue eyes shining dragon, and the other sphink monsters in the movie and my other cards just disserapeerd

to think of it, the first time i actually learned how to play the game was when i got my starter deck, because for months duelists kingdom fooled me in the rules xD but that was back when Yu-gi-oh was first released in the U.S

Same here. The main problem I had was I didn't know how to calculate life points. When I saw the show, I always thought they subtracted a random number of life points whenever a monster was destroyed. I was also hopeless on fusion, which was a problem because two of my first cards were fusion cards.

Lol yeh, i used to think that the show "lied" to me but i later found out that the card game was spawned from the show

yeah i remember a time when everyone use to duel sad

I don't play serius I only play with my brother for fun!
I never buy card annymore it have got way to expencive!!

i just stick with the video games save heaps of money
