They probably need to water down the effects of Osiris and Ra before they release it as playable OCG..

Another reason why Obelisk is released is because Takahashi-sensei only drew his favorite cards for the anniversary. Perhaps Obelisk is his favorite god card?

Yup. I got mine with V-Jump February issue.. But the card is very flimsy. You're probably not allowed to play it unless it's in a card protector.

This card can not be targeted by card effects.
No cards can be activated while being NORMAL summoned.

I don't think so, first it is slow as hell.
You need tree monster to summon it and 2 more to activate the effect.
It can get targeret but like no god cards targets.
The only good thing I se in it are 4000 atk and def power and it suths down monarchs.

If it cant be targeted by cards effect why can they use black rose dragons effect to wipe it out?

I think Sedicious meant Specifically targeted.

Smashing Ground can kill it. And this effect is actually stupider than on the recnt YGO games because it can attack when activating the effect afterward.

All the cards that doesn't target it can demolish it. Don't assume Fissure & Smashing Ground or Hammer Shot can't.
