and the similarity of Kaiba and Lex are completely wrong lol. Kaiba is a guy who runs a corporation built by his step father. Before Gozoburo used to sell, weaponry of mass destruction, but Kaiba turn this company around for the better sake of the world and a game station. His 1st step was creating a virtual world which from the 1st time it was tested him and yugi defeated the F.G.D. dragon.

Then a year later, he had to face his family history when he hosted the Battle City tournament. Back then all of these things reveal to him and Mokuba which he didn't want to know. After, some people that Kaiba corp did wrong while under control of Gozuboro went after Kaiba for revenge. Alister was one of them and got possesed by the dark force of the Seal of Oricalchost which makes it worst for Kaiba boy.

Lex is born evil, and raised to be evil. His father Lionel Luthor changed as the series of Smallville evolve before he died because he finally knew about The Traveler and wanted him to keep secretly out of the world. But Lex destination was always to rule and he embraced all of his father's training.

That's why he has 33.1 for meteor freaks, and a whole bunch of other labs which the league sough out and destroyed.

Basic line is that Kaiba try and erase his past and change his corporation to something good, but Lex embrace his dark side, and created a villain that is too flawed to be tempted. What Lex does is out of brilliance, no haste, and completely abstemious of Human emotions.
