does anybody know a good runner parts i can add to help me beat him.

Just make sure you have good handling, acceleration and a booster and you'll be set. Just boost at the start of the race and you should be able to catch up to him. Also, make sure its not ahigh booster your using.

probably too late to give any worthwhile advice but i reccomend ditching any frontal armour as it slows you down big time

If your Stat Pentagon for your Duel Runner is Red, then it'll be very slow. So try the most recent parts and maybe remove the Shields.
