Nah. That's a bad idea. Rocket already searches out for Blaze. 2 should be max if he's running 3 Rockets. Also, have you thought about Volcanic Counter, Infinity?

Also, people from "elsewhere" suggested Monk so I could discard dead cards to bring out Rocket. Is that a good idea?

well that could work, but to be honest the only dead draw i can think about is averice if you dont have 5 monsters in the grave

Either that or another Accelerator, but I don't think Monk -> Accelerator is a really advantageous play.
