limited or semi-limited, its a very good card but not that great to be banned. Honest would need 3 to be a win like in the video, but if you have only 1-2 the duel wont end as fast. So, Honest should be limited in some way but not banned

though he does cheat a lot.
the once per turn thing would do wonderfully!

i admit honest is indeed one broken card.
but then again we'll just have to wait for Konami's course of action.

Web just wants to abuse Honest to win with his Lightsworn deck and make them ever more cheaper as they already are.

okay i admit. I use the lightsworns XD and yeah honest is one of the staples. but then, there are
MANY other cards that are completely cheap. (i'm not giving names. you know who you are)

well lets see

1) honest can otk mostly happens after the oponent just finish using solemn

2) he can't be chained to unless you have a honest-like card in your hand

3) he can be searched with sangan, shining angel and the other fairy card because his effect to return to hand.

If ever this card becomes a ban, It only deserves the Limited at MOST. Not ban, that just fail. This actually not just helps that guy in the vid. BUT ALL OF US!!! remember that!

Honest should be semi-limited at best. Banning it seems silly because the only problem with Honest as of now are only Lightsworns and to a lesser extent, anti-meta LIGHT. A card shouldn't be banned just because it supports the toppest-tier deck. True that at least 3 times per duel (not counting the use of stuff like Reincarnation and Beckoning Light), you'll lose in a battle against a LIGHT monster because of Honest, but the thing is, most monsters will die during battle anyways.

And just like what Zeke said, you'll need a lot of luck to get 3 Honests in your hand like that.

The thing that makes Honest ban-worthy lies in the fact that it is activated from the hand, not from the fact that it supports LS.

Compare Honest to something like Mirror Force. In Mirror Force's case, it is set on the field and can be anticipated and countered by the attacker in numerous ways(baiting it out, destroying it, etc.). In Honest's case, it can neither be anticipated or easily countered because it activates from the hand. Sure, you could set the opponent to defense position, or summon Colossal, but you'll never know for sure that your opponent actually has Honest in his hand.

Something that cannot be anticipated cannot be countered. That is why Honest is banworthy.

I say limit because if the fact that only a few cards can stop Honest.

Honest is something that CANNOT be anticipated. But, isn't it better for all of us, I mean AFTER ALL WE CAN ALL USE HONEST without limit.
So basically it helps not only LS, but most decks as well. (and again LUCK is a factor to get three Honests)
No one really waits until they get all three (remember that!)

So, for me, it's great that Honest isn't banned. But, to make it fair Probably Semi-Limitingit would be the Better (if not the best) option that Konami should do to this issue.

Only 1 honest can screw you, having 3 of em just gives you more chance to get it. (being returned in hand with beckoning light makes it more dangerous. I wouldn't mind Honest being a trap card that sets on the floor, or need to be face up on the field to get activated, but from hand???

...if they want to keep off Honest, they might as well bring Gorz to 3, since you know... why would it get on the list? I rather find Gorz on the field rather than being hit by Honest!

TBH, I disagree with this. Solemn is an amazing card that can negate nearly everything your opponent throws at you, sans Monster effects and some oddities. It is an easy cost to pay, especially when your LP are already low to the point it doesn't matter how much you pay. Konami did a right thing by limiting this thing.

I AGREE....to put Honest in the Limited list. Honest WAYY broken, but not too broken.

I think limiting Honest was just the best course of action though I hate the card. Since like it has been said, Honest's main problem is that it comes from the hand therefore it can be very difficult to anticipate.
