PostSubject: FaceBook Question   FaceBook Question Icon_minitimeTue Jan 31, 2012 11:00 pm

Does anybody here know how many pictures one FaceBook Album can hold? According to the FaceBook Help Center it says 200 per album "You can upload 200 photos per album and create as many albums as you want." On my FaceBook page I have exactly 6 albums (at this time) which contains over 200+ photos. Did FaceBook raise the number of photos per album or is it unlimited per album or perhaps certain/some users are allowed to upload over 200 photos?

facebook HELP CENTER (source): https://www.facebook.com/help/photos/upload-photos-and-profile-pictures
date looked at: January 31st, 2012

Did facebook not mention the amount of photos per album after they made some changes to their site or what? Does anyone know whats going on here? Can you guys upload more then 200+ photos per album? I would assume you can upload more then 200+ photos per album.

Facebook Help Center is probably not the most used device. It might be outdated.

True to what SizzleFish said. And it's not only facebook. For instance, webs.com has a glitch on premium features. Once you registered with any packages for 1 year, they considered you register forever. Such things like access to premium templates and go over your maximum 20 page limits. Though I don't care about the premium templates but I do care about the more pages options and I've taken a lot of advantage on that.

Also their watermark buttons are supposed to show up on any templates that's not packages like the official website here, but since back then in 2009 when I purchased that Starter Package, they forgot about me and because there are over thousands of websites with premium features, that option is manual and doesn't get reversed unless noticed by a human webs representative.

So it might be the same here for facebook. Maybe that policy is for newly created accounts and they still haven't applied it to old accounts. FAcebook wouldn't have it there for no reasons, so it's best to keep quiet of something you find an advantage of.

After testing this on FaceBook, FaceBook has raised the amount of photos per album. The current amount for photos per album maximum is 1000 photos per album as of right now (February 2nd, 2012).
