Your Side DECK

This is my personal side for match-up-play decks in WC 2011. This basically gets me anywhere. And not just anywhere but increases my winning percentages on the 2nd match should I lost the 1st one. And if somehow I managed to win the 1st then victory is guaranteed.

Cyber Dragon 2x The dawn of machines started on these GADGETS. Since I started using them, eventually the virus spreads. Then you got Machina Gadgets. Now Karakuri Machina Plants.

Kinetic Soldier 2x Samurais, needs a heavy power take down. Note most Samurai decks are vulnerable to Marshmallow in Def Mode straight forward attack cards because they only Special Summons and protect themselves from Destruction. You can run Compulsiory too if you want...but this guy makes them look like trash compare to power.

Chimeratech Fortress Dragon - With Cyber Dragon added you can fight any machine decks with this guy. And it's a 1 up for advantages.

Closed Forest 2x Perfect cards for the return of the Keepers. Even though Wc 2011 lacks the key spirit of all Gk's decks you still got fairy and other types of Field Spell decks. Since on your main deck you would usually run Seven Tool this guy is perfect for siding beside Dust Tornado.

Chain Disappearance 2x You know how these Samurais gets on your nerves? Or these Plants, or any Dopple Warrior, Fables, or even Infernities? This is the guy to take them out. Make no mistake this is better than a Bottomless facing these decks.

Crevice into the Different Dimension 2x Yes, some of you may still favor D.D. Crow or Dimensional Fissure. I prefer this guy out of these choices. This is the guy that make Treeborn Frog + Fishborg Blaster / Gravekeeper's Stele / Infernity Archfiend + Infernity Necromancer / Rekindling / Zombie Master + Plag. Zombie / Gottom's Emergency Call / Dragunity / Fish or anything useless. Better for me than those cards honestly and the fact that it removes two instead of 1, that's a 1 up.

Gottom's Emergency Call 2x X-Saber have a vast Swarming Ability. Sometimes adding 1 cards may not be enough, but this card is for specifically X-Users.

Gozen Match 2x Believe me when I tell you this, Formula Monarch decks are a real pain. Same as Plant Synchros, Zombie Plant Synchro, Chaos Plant Synchro, Junk Synchro Dopple Warrior tactics, and other various decks with different attribute like Samurais, American PUBLIC ENEMY # 1.

Note depends on the deck I usually have Thunder King as next 16, and Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo as top 17. Also Got D.D. Warrior Lady as top 18.

This sums up a basic side deck very well.
Let me put up mine...

Here's my basic side deck.

2x Consecrated Light: Dark decks used to be more of problem, but they are still very common. Lots of decks still use lots of darks, and this card is just to good to miss when dueling a dark deck.

2x Kinetic Soilder: Yeah, what David said. I use Six Sams, and they are very powerfull. I make sure to even put them in my own Six Sam side deck for when I fight other Six Sams.

2x Closed Forest: Gravekeepers are one of the most powerfull decks out there next to Samurai's. So I make sure to run these.

2x Nobleman Crossout: Yeah, I don't like Gravekeepers. So I run this for taking out their numerous facedowns. It also helps with other decks.

2x Chain Dissapearance: Same reasons as David. This card is beast.

2x Crevice Into the Different Dimension: Same reasons as David. I prefer it over D.D. Crow as well.

2x System Down: I prefer this over the Cyber Dragon's and Chimeratech. Takes up less space, and removes from play.

1x Mind Crush Distrupts all search cards, and I always seem to be able predict what's in their hand. I always get their Gorz and DaD with this.

Nice, this side deck will be super effective VS Blackwinds, and Infernities lol... Consecrated Light, I swap that for Effect Veiler mostly because I like to have limitless possibilities than 1.

Okay, so first off I dun know how to use bold so yea...I'm Noob.
Second is that this is actually my side deck, I know half of it is like what the heck but this is actually it, Gilford, Miracle Synchro Fusion, Saggi the Dark Clown, Forest, and Naturia Forest are pretty rare cards to me, some were given by either friends, relatives (Cousins that played...not like my dad...that's just creepy), the others are either Troll cards for my friends and a whole bunch of inside jokes, I actually replaced the last three for Nobleman of Crossout and Crevice, not gonna lie.
I actually did have Kinetic, and cyber and swords in my side deck already, never thought of the Nobleman and Crevice so after I read this, I flat out took out my cards and replaced those cards for my side deck. I know it's noob but...I really don't have that many cards XD

Making a side deck is extremely important for dueling competively.
If your a pro, then you know how to make a side deck.

You bet, and not even for like Crush Card, so...You see me...with my Plant Deck, all cool and all and then Saggi BOOM! at the last turn and then...attack..there goes 600 LP, win! , it first started as a joke when it got mixed into my Burn (Iron Chain) deck and instead of burning to win, it was boom 600LP down so...now it's really awesome yeah lol, um...are there any recommendations since I should probably have actual practical cards in my side deck, cause as funny as it is to get those side looks from people I duel with whenever I go to a local store, I really should be more serious :p
