World Dueling Grand Prix World Championship 2010 Sign Up

KWC: Okay Folks, I've decided to create something new. As you may know the last few days I've been obsessed on taking out firetrooper's team on the chat by myself. Here's the reason.

This tournament will be played by the minimum of 12 participants with each form a 3 team. Each team will engaged into battle of 1 person dueling, and once he loses he passed on the torch to the next person. Read below to find out how to participate.

Rules:

1 - To sign up you need to at least being in a team of 30 posts or higher. For example, if you are new here, you can join a team that has a member of 30 posts Novice Duelist should they accepts you.

2 - You will be dueling in 1 day, in a match duel each opponents with different monsters in deck. For example if player A uses Sangan, player B, nor player C cannot include these in their deck. However the opponent can play the same cards as long as their partners doesn't have the cards they played. Spells, and Traps can be different.

3 - We will be using the March, 2010 list, downloaded via Wifi from the game of Yugioh! Reverse of Arcadia.

FAQ

1 - What happened if my partner is not here when I lost my match?
- Your team will lose.

2 - Can an outside member of this forum joins without being in this forum?
- No

3 - Troubleshooting Wifi errors.
- You will switch who duels who. But if the last duel remains you cannot duel because of Wifi error your team will advanced with the most winning percentage.

4 - How do I find a team?
- Members on this forum will be gladly to read your PM.

5 - Since I read there's 12 participant what happened if one more team sign up and break the 4 on 4 even number?
- They will be pending on a second group until that second group has the same amount of 12 people in it.

6 - When is the deadline?
- This sign up might take the 2 weeks of March depending on the amount of sign ups we get, should it meet the expectation of a successful tourney format. We may wait for another team if the minimum 11 members.

Just for consideration, wouldn't it be better to say "Themed decks." A lot of decks run Sangan anyway.

No Shiki. Not good for theme deck. I mean look at it this way.

L/D, Monarch & Horus basically runs the same staple cards. (Sangan, E-H - Stratos, etc)

I have the vision of seeing the World Dueling Grand Prix similar as the 5ds. In fact I went to the exact same everything. The only thing I couldn't change is the field ruling and the riding duel.

If we could start a duel with specific cards in play, I would have included a rule as that but we cant. Also if we had riding duel via Wifi I would have make it as that.

The 1 day rule is for counter decks. I mean an opponent can't counter a deck in 1 minute. Think about it. The sooner 1 loses the next one will want to duel next according to this tourney rule and if they don't their team loses, so they will play their utmost best.

Or within 24 hours time differences already minus 3. Then a team as mine will start dueling around 6 PM EST. The others may be 9 or even later. To remake a counter deck for 1, congratz, you beat me. Then my second partner comes and beat that person. That's 2-1. Would the other make another counter deck? Waste times on trying vs Ghosts. Once the 24 hours hits the dot, the 2-1 victor goes to me. No one makes a perfect deck in rush, plus the limited monsters will make you think of discarding monsters to use. Not knowing what your team A played on the field you will have to go according to their deck's monsters to not include duplicates otherwise you may be in risk of DQ for cheating.

The no forum member rule is to avoid winners outside this forum such as your tourney from the TF4. I mean I dont have anything against it, but these trophy champions may be needed for 1 final tourney just as the last Stardust Accelerator's tourney we had, so everything have already been calculated for this year's King of Game.

Heck to tell you I can enter this tourney by myself and make duplicates of profiles using proxy servers and uses all of my DSs (Phat, DSl, & DSi) with my flashkards and make my brothers speaks via Wifi should you guys want to check for identity. But the fact remain I will only duel, and that's my style which may not be good enough. But having a team, that's 3 different people with different dueling techniques.

sorry, that's a big no no. Unless you guys uses them all in 15 option, but when past down to partners, you tell them which one you already used as a synchro material.

One question about the tourney. If card is discarded from hand or deck like Mirror Force can my other team mates use it in their deck even tho it has not been used?

Sorry but just to re ensure, if I have say, Ally of Justice Catastor in my extra deck, and DONT use him, or any card in my deck and dont use it, my teammates still can?

The rules states that Monster of the same card cannot be used. If discarded, and your opponent sees it, your partner cannot use it.

Same rule for Extra Decks. If your opponent activated an effect of a card that forces you to throw away a specific extra deck card, and that same opponent uses on the next person and both uses the same card that team is DQ.

Meaning when I said different monsters I meant different monsters.

Spell and Trap can be duplicated from the team.

What I was refering earlier is somehow if certain people would like to cheat they can bypass the rules by simply tell their partner what monster they used either for synchro or from the deck, "IF" their opponent did not sees it. However should they see it even though it didn't play the next partner of that team cannot use that card.

Various decks will reveal these combo such as MILL decks, and I'm sure one of you here is waiting to win a duel by just DQ someone, such like me. To tell you I hate fighting.
