KWC Yearbook Discussion

This is just going to be open to whatever ideas you have for it, it's not going to be run by just one person. We'll merge it all together in the end. This board is just for anything you feel you need to discuss with the others working on the project. Vane has agreed to help by confirming the information we find so ask him if you have any doubts or can't find something.

Anyway, right now I think was should just get an idea of what everyone's gonna do so we don't have wasted repeat work. Here are my suggestions right now:

Staff & Forum Information: Who the staff are, what they do, what they're like as well as what the forum offers and what members can expect. Basically this is to get new members who read the yearbook acquainted with the forum and those who can help them if they have any problems.

Tournament & Other Event Reports: Show any ladders/matchups you can find. You could also maybe interview the winner(s) or any other participants or discuss the decks and strategies ran in the event.

Superlatives of veteran members: Basically come up with some title or ranking to describe that person's personality, what they do, they're accomplishments, or anything else about them and predict they're future. This is basically for laughs, so try to come up with something ridiculous (but still based on that person) when coming up with superlatives.

Member Profiles: Interview the more active members and compile a list of information on what they're like, their interests, what they do, etc. This being more serious than the superlatives, again so new members can more quickly and easily become used to the forum.

This is all I've thought of so far. If you've got another idea, just post it. Basically if it has something to do with the image, atmosphere and/or history of the forum or its members, it's game.

Well, those would be superlatives.

"Best Original Deck"
"Coolest Deck Name"
"Funniest Moment"
"Best/Worst Fail"
"Best Sig/Ava"
A page of everyone's favorite/theme song

These are some ideas I came up with. You dont have to use them.
and I'm already guessing that every member (or every active member) will have a page about him/her self?

Maybe, if there's that much information about them.

Anyway, I'm waiting for you guys to post what you want to do so we're not just taking a shot in the dark and hoping someone else isn't doing the same thing.

well i think that we shud start of with like you know the forum history, then welll something else, then maybe one of zekes ideas then do like the superlatives things.

I don't want everyone doing the same thing, Bad, otherwise we're bound to have repeat work. That's why I'm waiting for everyone to post what they want to do. What are you guys waiting for? x_x

Zeke's idea seems to be very well thought out; I think we should go with his and maybe add stuff onto it as we go along
