Pokemon Tournament?

I know this is a Yugioh site but what about a Pokemon tournament?

I mean just look at Caterpie, he wants it!!!

although now that i have a second thought ... it was really supposed to be a yu gi oh forum and just with a small pokemon section, pokemon is really growing in this forum.

why not?? we can make it to be a very small tourney just for people on the forum we wil lnto advertise it and there doesnt have to be a picture it will all just go inside the pokemon section if kwc ageeds with this il be sure to help.

i guess we could probably do that maybe open a new thread in the pokemon section to post all of our platinum or diamond/pearl FC's seeing as we will just be dueling for fun and nothing to do with the forum... what do ya say KWC?

As long as you post a topic that relates to the right section, you don't need permission unless you're asking for the staff to "sticky, announce, watch over, host or give awards" for a pokemon tournament. You're allowed to post anything about pokemon in the pokemon section itself which is why you shouldn't be limited (unless it's inappropriate for all ages lolz). The Pokemon section is there for a reason.

I don't understand why you're suggesting this unless you guys wanted a staff member to host the tournament and display/advertise it just like the Yugioh ones. I don't see the harm in a regular member just having fun "poke-battling" with a bunch of interested members in a member-made topic itself. It's just another member-made topic.

KWC's no is for not having the staff to "sticky, announce, watch over, advertise, host, make pics or give awards" for a pokemon tournament.

I don't need to answer this lol. I disgree for the reaons she said, though now adays I have been less active around here, and I'm really not here lol like I used to so I didn't explain myself of the no.

You guys can do anything on the pokemon forum corner. If you want, just to be nice, I'll add a sub-forum for tourneys there for you, but inviolving prises and staffs is not part of this forum and what the staffs signed up for. You can understand this is a Yugioh forum comunnity of World Championship series and notthing about pokemon lol, so I really have to be specifics.

First, I will add the sub-forum sometimes in the future seing the first result of this so called tourney you guys have in mind, other than that, I cannot do nothing about this, and the person that brough up this idea have to work his way of showing he's capable to handle it.

Who knows, I might change my mind and make this part of activities here Razz

I'm not sure if I think I know what you said but they're not doing the prizes, and announcing it like the ygo tournaments (nothing of it on the main site, no winners will be in the hall of fame, etc). Well in a way, the first post didn't mention any of that, but it also did not say it doesn't include it. It's like hmm, how should I explain it.

Just one topic one of them feel like making, where they all gather, and just pokebattle. It's what the Pokemon Games section is for. There's no prizes, no staff involvement, no "name on scrolly thing forever", etc. And it just is another topic in the pokemon category itself.

So when you said you disagreed with me, in a way I see you agreed too. It's confusing, lol. Razz

I think they understand the non-staff involvement and the no prizes, no site updates, no advertising for it, no mass emailings, no nothing.

Just a topic where they all have the same interests, nothing more than that. That was my explanation in summary. ^_^
